Home

Hawaii is a wonderful home. Who could ask for more when everyday is filled with sunshine warmth
and highly generous people. However, Hawaii is not my home, and the time has come to be back
with family. So with fond memories and great sadness, I must say aloha to the islands.

+Artful Bra Project

We spearheaded the Artful Bra Project Hawaii on Feb. 14, 2009. It is a community effort creating altered bras to raise funds for support services for breast cancer patients and survivors in Hawaii. This past Auction was a complete success and we were able to
raise $3,300 at the Hard Rock Cafe's Pinktober Fest.

What is an aggressive look? My challenge for MySubie.com was to create a mud flap that enhanced the toughness of a Subaru while not offsetting the lines of the vehicle. Through design research and meetings with numerous enthusiasts, we came up with an answer. The launch of the product allowed the company to claim a strong foothold in the industry.

+Scuba System for Paraplegic Divers

The Jetray was my undergraduate thesis project. I always loved the idea of an all inclusive scuba system that could reduce fatigue and prolong the experience. This was a revisiting of a long lost classic that was originally designed for divers who had no use of their legs. Currently the preferred method of paraplegic drivers is with the use of hand paddles. Though effective, was also counter productive and reduces dive time considerably due to over exertion.

This inflatable tent design was conjured up during a competition. I love the ease of use and how an air mattress is no longer necessary. This also gave me an opportunity to explore emergency equipment and techniques.
